hi, I'm an experienced language learner, and i'v also been working with different types of language learners with different teaching methods as well. Apart from traditional grammar-exercise method also modern listening-speaking method. And the listening-speaking method also suits absolute beginners. and different approaches usually have different results. Anyway the selection of learning way depends on your goal and your preference.
