Hi! I'm Gina. I was born and raised in a small town in the Peloponnese, Greece. In 2018, I moved to Iceland, where I lived for six years. Now, I'm moving to Ireland! I have an International Studies in Education degree and am currently doing my Master's in Education and International Development at the University of Iceland. I love learning and teaching languages and want to help you learn Greek! Other things about me are that I love reading books, playing the piano, doing yoga, watching movies and series, and I 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 travelling. I speak English and Spanish, and I'm currently learning French and Icelandic.

La scelta dell'insegnante

Gina and I had our first "reading together" lesson today and I'm psyched to continue with this approach. She suggested a few alternative texts, based on my preferences, and we began reading the travel blog I had selected. For each sentence, if there was vocabulary I was unfamiliar with, we stopped and discussed it until I understood. We also worked on improving my pronunciation. Gina's knowledge of English is excellent and allowed for a good translation when necessary, but I do appreciate that she generally stuck to Greek. Πολύ ωραίο μάθημα!
