I've been passionate about foreign languages since day one. By a freak of fate, however, had chosen economics, and after taking a master's degree began my career in investment banking where I gained a solid 7-year experience as a financial advisor.
In 2018, I've done an about-face towards teaching. In total there's over 8000 lessons with around 800 students under my belt - online on ITALKI and face-to-face at BERLITZ Language Corporation. Teaching foreign languages is my true vocation.
As I've been raised in a thoroughly musical family, my second passion is music. In my spare time, I love listening to music and playing the guitar.Che tipo di insegnante sono

Lessons with me are dynamic and fun, adapted to your needs and personality. In the General course we mainly stick to a curriculum, whereas in the Conversational one we talk about anything specific of your fancy or have a spontaneous conversation.
Since June 2018, I've advised and prepared students taking the IELTS exam. My expertise has been proven by their great results. I, myself, have taken it 4 times in 2017-2018 (both the Academic and General modules), and most recently got the remarkable band scores (Listening 8.5 Reading 8.5 Writing 6.5 Speaking 8.0 as my best shot).Il mio materiale didattico

I met Niko when I was an exchange student in South Korea. I was doing my English-based Management program. When I arrived there, I couldn't speak a single word in English, and yet after a month of classes with Niko, I began to comprehend most of the content in class and quickly gained the ability to socialize with fellow students and even making friends. Now, after nearly 2 years of having my pretty intensive, regular English training, I've improved from A1 beginner to B2 upper-intermediate and passed the IELTS at the overall band score 7 which allowed my to be eligible and accepted for a Master's program taught in English. I can enjoy talking with teachers and students with so much ease and fun. That could be barely possible without Niko's guidance. He also always adapts to my needs: practicing conversational English, business English, preparing for IELTS, etc. With all that being said, this feedback is my token of great appreciation to Niko. Niko is a pleasure to work with and learn from. I have been working with Niko for just about two years and I am happy to say that my Georgian has gone from zero to me being able to comfortably navigate daily life when my work takes me to Georgia. I can highly recommend Niko as a teacher.
