I’m a passionate musician, surfer, and skateboarder – movement and rhythm have always played a big role in my life. But my curiosity goes far beyond that. I’m deeply fascinated by life itself – its origins, its complexity, and our place in nature.
Traveling and living in countries like Spain, Mexico, Kanada, Colombia, Portugal, ect. has had a huge impact on the way I see the world – and on how I teach. I became a teacher on italki to share my passion for a rare and complex language with people around the world—whether you're deeply interested or simply enjoy learning something new. I’m relaxed, communicative, and motivated, so lessons with me feel more like fun than work.
I’m a certified DaF/DaZ teacher with over 6 years of experience, helping students prepare for exams, job interviews, and everyday life in Germany. I offer level-specific grammar, conversation, and exam preparation (Goethe, Telc, TestDaF, etc.) for A1–C2. Beginners benefit from my structured course (available as a PDF), while advanced students engage in discussions on current topics or their own areas of interest, focusing on fluency and complex grammar.
After each lesson, you’ll receive a summary, and you’ll benefit from my own learning tools. I also provide a personal Google Doc to track vocabulary, grammar, and feedback. Heute bekam ich eine glückliche E-Mail, dass ich die letzte Zertifikatsprüfung, Telc B1 bestanden habe! Sogar auf dem Zertifikat war es geschrieben, 'Sehr gut'. Juuhhuuu🎉!!
Während ich mich darauf vorbereitet habe, waren die Unterrichten mit Marco sehr hilfreich.
Bei der heutigen Lektion waren Marco und ich über das Ergebnis sehr fröhlich. Nach dem Urlaub will ich bis die nächste, B2 weit laufen, noch mit diesem netten Lehrer, Marco😊

Marco has a great ability to manage the lesson and the student and the pace. It's a rare quality that I recognize as a teacher myself. Marco conducts a relaxed but intensive class. He knows how to put you at ease. He is also very flexible and talors lessons to your needs. I always look forward to having lessons with him. I highly recommend Marco! It’s my first class with Marco, and I was a bit nervous. Marco was so nice to offer me some time to chat with me in English first to ease my nervousness. After that we had review on what I should have learned before, and he offered me detailed explanation on preposition and Perfekt vs Präteritum , which are so useful to know! Nice of him to leave me some homework for me to practice. Looking forward to his next class soon!😄

I appreciated Marco's approach. He focused on my goals for learning German and provides a good plan for moving forward. He was very reassuring and easy to talk to. Although it was just an introductory conversation, it felr structured and very helpful. I loom forward to working together in future sessions.
