Native Hungarian tutor & certified English teacher | CELTA | Cambridge C2 Grade A Hi! 😊 My name is Anna Szakács, and I'm a native Hungarian speaker from Debrecen, Hungary. Over the years, I've also lived abroad in three different countries in Europe. I worked as an au pair in Italy 🇮🇹, completed my university studies in Ireland at University College Cork 🇮🇪, where I studied languages and cultures (English, French, and Italian), and later took part in a European Solidarity Corps volunteering project in France 🇫🇷. Because of my own experience learning and using foreign languages in real-life situations, I understand both the challenges and the emotional side of language learning, and I always aim to create a supportive, comfortable environment where students feel safe to speak and grow. I hold a Cambridge CELTA qualification (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and a Cambridge C2 Proficiency certificate with Grade A, so I know both sides of the language learning journey. I had a very nice first lesson with Anna. She is incredibly patient and kind and is also very helpful and supportive. She is very interested in making lessons as productive and meaningful as possible and even asked about some Hungarian resources I am currently using so that she can familiarize herself with possible questions I may have or concepts I'm learning about! I'm looking forward to future lessons!
