Diana

I had the pleasure to improve my Russian knowledge while attending more than 400 lessons with my teacher Diana! It is the way she structured her classes that has motivated and inspired me to take so many lessons. While planning her classes, Diana was always considerate of my wishes and stayed very flexible. She even gave classes on public holidays or during the weekend. Her classes included many interacting tasks and offered me the possibility to train orally while addressing plenty of different topics. I could always count on her ability to correct my spoken or written Russian in a gentle way. A huge advantage in my learning process was also that Diana speaks German very well herself. I don’t regret any moment I spent learning Russian with Diana. Her classes became an important part of my daily life. Thank you Diana for your patience, relaxed atmosphere during your classes, as well as for all your efforts!

I really like Diana. Today was a challenging one for me, but I thoroughly enjoy it. I feel like I've been trapped in a beginners Russian "cocoon" for such a long time, and Diana has brought me out of that in less than a month. The homework exercises she creates are adapted from the topic/subject we are learning. I really appreciate how she intentionally creates exercises that concentrate on my weak areas (which quite frankly is everything right now), specifically Russian case endings. She doesn't rely on the use of tables to memorize these endings, which works for me. Lately, I can't remember endings simply by memorizing grammar tables, but in casual sentences, I do. Her exercises are casual and gradual learning activities and her explanations are concise and LOGICAL. Most instructors spend lots of time giving textbook explanations--without the practical. Diana provides both. To sum up in this session alone, she has answered 6 years of questions I've had in one session.

Only my second lesson today with Diana. I'm level A2 and our lesson was a mix of conversation, grammar review and textbook exercises. Diana is an experienced and patient teacher. I'm quiet by nature so speaking is not always easy. I appreciate how Diana corrects my mistakes and allows time for me to repeat and practice speaking. The notes and homework are very helpful for review.

Diana ist eine sehr freundliche und geduldige Lehrerin. Da ich mit Russisch wirklich bei null beginne, hilft es mir sehr, dass sie alles verständlich und angenehmen erklärt. Ich fühle mich im Unterricht sehr wohl und habe ein sehr gutes Gefühl 😊
