¡Hola! I'm Belén, a Spanish and English teacher from Chile with a Bachelor's degree in Language Teaching. Born and raised in the southernmost zone of Chile, Patagonia. Currently living in different parts of the world, I love dancing, exploring new cultures, languages & and creating genuine connections with people from around the world.
I love what I do because it gives me the incredible opportunity to share my native language while learning from my students' diverse backgrounds and life experiences. I'm genuinely curious about your world, your culture, and your story.

With a Bachelor's degree in Language Teaching and 8 years of teaching experience (5 years in schools + 3 years online), I've developed a patient and adaptive approach. I'm patient, and genuinely interested in getting to know each student. Having taught in schools and online worldwide, I understand different learning styles and cultural backgrounds. As a person who travels, I bring authentic cultural insights to every lesson (I'm sharing my travel experience with my students through recordings, so you'll get listening practice with transcriptions). I thoroughly enjoy learning Spanish with Belén, and I have made excellent progress with her support, guidance and encouragement. She puts a lot of effort into generating teaching material, tailoring her lessons and the material to my needs and my learning style. We also have a lot of fun in the classes. Belén is an excellent teacher and I recommend her very highly.

I highly recommend lessons with Belén! She's very responsive to your learning goals. She provides an excellent mix of conversational practice and instruction, which is what I was looking for. She seems very knowledgeable as an instructor. And, importantly, she's pleasure to talk with! I've taken online lessons before and haven't always been excited about the classes, but I always look forward to and enjoy my classes with Belén.

Belén is a fantastic spanish teacher. She guides and speaks at my level. She is kind and very encouraging and helpful. She explains clearly and helps me push myself towards my goal of spanish fluency. I highly recommend Belén!

Belén is a great teacher! The atmosphere was always very friendly. I learned a lot and gained confidence very quickly.
She adjusts the classes to your needs and answers questions you might have even after the classes end.
What surprised me the most is how much good material she produces herself. She has made videos and podcasts with transcripts that help a lot with training your ears.
Her english is very good, so if you are totally lost, she can explain anything in english.
If you're looking for a competent teacher with structure and empathy, look no further.

Belen is an amazing Spanish teacher! She's so friendly and easy to talk to, which makes learning fun. She's also very organized and creates customized lessons with homework and written/audio content that are super helpful. She perfectly blends conversation and instruction, and her feedback is always useful. Highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Spanish!
