Ping is very understanding and had good skills to identify my knowledge level, which was quite poor having started learning Chinese a month ago. She maintained “conversation” through my poor vocabulary and kept the class pleasant and enjoyable. She nimbly dashed through tools and assessment ideas displaying good teaching that comes with experience. Very good experience and I definitely recommend Ping :)

I had Chinese lessen with Ping regularly for more than a month, two times a week. I want to speak authentic Chinese so our class focuses on improving my accent. In the beginning, we tried to apply shadowing to improve my accent. But Ping realized that I should also improve my Pingyi to reach a better accent. So, she asked me to add Pingyi session into the class. It's very difficult to change my habit of Pingyi after so many years of speaking Chinese. But she patiently taught me and corrected each of my Pingyi, which I really appreciated. (And that's why I wrote this second comment.) Another thing I appreciate is that she is good at finding out your problem and looking for the solution with you. I think she is really a good teacher.

I am really enjoying my Lessons with Ping so far. She has quickly identified my level and we have able to speak on a wide range of topics together. Ping's pronunciation is very clear and easy to learn from. Her teaching style compels me to speak as little English as possible which is very rewarding. She has a great sense of humour too!

Learning Chinese, is an ongoing task. So beautiful the language is, there is chance to deepen one’s knowledge with every step you take. Ping’s lessons are enjoyable and most effective. With her HSK lessons (on my choice, twice a week for 2 months now) I’ve been rapidly improving my spoken Chinese. Ping is funny, professional, patient and very engaging. An interesting soul to get to know and most importantly she is helpful. I highly recommend her HSK lessons as her format will help you improve very quickly. A trial lesson, is the perfect way to break the ice, and have an initial review. Later on, using official materials she can stimulate your learning process with questions and discussions about textbook pictures. She gets you to practice reading and characters understanding providing you with new learning ideas and homeworks at every lesson. The pace of each lesson is very well balanced and her personality can be a real source of energy on your progress through learning Chinese.
