My name is Sophie, I’m a native French teacher from France with 14 years of experience teaching French in universities, companies and online. I am an official examiner for DELF, DALF, TCF and TEF, helping learners succeed in exams with clear strategies and confidence.
With a background in international relations, I support professionals in diplomacy, humanitarian aid and international cooperation, but I also enjoy helping any learner use French for other professional fields or personal goals. Passionate about languages and cultures, I am highly adaptable and always tailor lessons to your needs.

My goal is to bring out the best in you to improve your French in the way you need!
My lessons are well structured but I really do adapt myself to your goals. I can for instance explain you French grammar and make you practice it by using structures in speaking (fun) activities. We can also work on vocabulary or pronunciation. I can assign you writing tasks.
For general conversation practice, I like to send you first a video or a text with questions and then have a conversation on the topic. All topics are possible, just let me know!
I have been a DELF-DALF and TCF-TEF examiner for many years so I can help you prepare these exams or others (FIDE, US department of State exam, UN pr.). Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento

With me, you'll practice your French as much as possible in order to gain self-confidence and fluency.
Every time you speak, I'm listening carefully, I write down your mistakes and correct them on my sheet (without showing my screen too much, I don't want to interrupt your thoughts ;-)) and I'll give you a feedback.

Sophie est une professeure exceptionnelle. Je suis venue pour préparer l’oral du TCF, avec très peu de connaissances au départ. Grâce à sa méthode stratégique et professionnelle, j’ai progressé rapidement. Elle ne fait pas qu’enseigner : elle accompagne, elle coach, et elle transmet son savoir avec sincérité et passion. Elle m’a également énormément aidée pour l’épreuve écrite, en me fournissant des méthodes claires, des exemples structurés et des documents pour améliorer ma grammaire et mon vocabulaire. I started lessons with Sophie four years ago when my level was at B1. Thanks to her support, I successfully passed the DALF C2 and can now confidently use French in my professional work. Working for the UN, I was also able to prepare effectively for the UN Language Proficiency Examination (LPE) with her support.
