Hi! My name is Dusan and I'm a professional English teacher from Canada! I have been travelling and teaching for over nine years now and I love meeting people from around the world. I like learning about different cultures and talking about many things, especially travelling, sports, books, movies, philosophy, language, history, fashion and FOOD! In my lessons you can introduce any topic and I am always very happy to talk to you about whatever interests you! I also have many hobbies. I love to read, write, walk in old cities and nature, eat lots of different exciting food and I used to play semi-professional soccer. These days, I play darts and table tennis! I have an Honours Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto, Canada (English major), a Masters degree in Education from the U.S. and a TESOL diploma. I have been teaching for over 10 years and have taught many different students and levels: primary, high school, university academic English, conversation and business English. I know how to work with any type of student, from absolute beginner to advanced. My biggest motivation is seeing my students get better after each lesson and watching them achieve their life goals through English. I also specialise in IELTS, TOEIC preparation, as well as professional editing, proofreading, job interview and presentation preparation. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I focus on grammar accuracy and fluency, but also make sure that our lessons are conversation based and that you are learning natural, useful English every lesson. I go according to your ideal pace but I am not afraid to push you sometimes in order to be more successful in reaching your language learning goals. Please feel free to relax in my lessons, be yourself and always enjoy what we are doing. I also expect you to ask me a lot of questions! One lesson with Dusan was sufficient to make me state that he is one of the best teachers on italki for anyone, even an advanced student, to progress faster in English. This teacher has an extensive knowledge of various topics to discuss, from politics to hotel arrangement. Talking to him, I felt that It wasn't a senseless chitchat because I had paid for It, Dusan was sincerely into the conversation, enjoying and participating in It from the beginning right to the very end.
