Hallo! I’m Katharina, a certified German teacher with a passion for languages and cultures. Born in Germany, I’ve lived in France and explored Latin America—fluent in Spanish, French, and more! My 6 years working on cruise ships let me connect with people worldwide, and now I love helping students speak German confidently. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me baking (ask about German recipes!), reading crime novels, or rollerblading. Let’s make learning fun—maybe even in *your* language! ;-)
I studied Romance languages and conference interpreting, and I also have a degree in German as a foreign language. I really enjoy helping people improve their language skills. Since I have learned different languages myself and have experienced various methods, I can look back on a lot of experience and give helpful tips.
In general, it is important to me to get my students to speak. Grammar exercises can also be done alone at home. But practicing speaking and being able to work on the mistakes is what makes the lessons for me. I arrange the topics according to the interests of the students. I always give the topic for the next lesson and the student receives a text or audio file to prepare.Il mio materiale didattico
