I’m originally from Poland, but I see myself as a global citizen. At 18, I moved to Scotland to begin my legal studies, which shaped my international outlook and career path. I’m open-minded, sociable, and naturally curious about the world. I have lived in seven different countries, which has further strengthened my adaptability and cross-cultural perspective.
I completed my undergraduate degree in English Law at the University of Dundee, a Master’s degree in International Law in Leiden, and a PhD in International Law at the University of Lincoln. I now work in the field of immigration law.

I also have extensive teaching experience across several higher education institutions in the UK and Cyprus. I have delivered lectures to large audiences of up to 400 students, which strengthened my public speaking skills and my ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear, structured, and engaging way. Alongside large lecture settings, I have conducted numerous one-to-one and small-group sessions with students, providing tailored academic support and mentoring.

I've been learning with Jacob for about half a year, and he is a fantastic teacher. very helpful, polite, and interactive. always gives back feedback if your pronunciation is wrong, explains stuff very well (e.g. Polish cases, conjugation etc) and has been a huge help on my Polish learning adventure, would recommend 100% 😊

The lesson with Jacob was great, I can't complain! He was very attentive, kind and helpful. He was very concerned about making the lesson comfortable and productive and I really appreciated that (because my polish isn't really good to be honest). I recommend it.
