Hello everyone, I am Eleni and I come from Greece. I am here, because I believe I can help you get started with Greek and proceed with your learning experience as far as you wish.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I got my Bachelor's Degree in Greek Philology, School of Philosophy, at University of Athens in 2006. Since then, I've been successfully teaching Modern Greek to Greek pupils of all levels. I started teaching Greek Language and History to adult foreigners in 2013 and I must say it has been a very interesting experience so far. It has always been a pleasure for me to communicate with different people from all over the world.
I would also like to mention that I have participated in several seminars on Special Education, which have helped me improve myself and my teaching methods.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
A trial lesson/ meeting is the best way to get started: for me, obtaining information regarding your needs and your level, the time you want to invest in your learning, your interests etc ,are required for a tailor- made course!
Afterwards, I try to organize the learning session, according to your needs. I use as much material, tools and techniques, as I can, in order to make the lesson enjoyable and interesting. Students are kindly asked to access the class using their computer. Smart phones and tablets are not advised as interaction through these devices is very limited.

Teacher said she knew Classical Greek. I said I knew Classical, but not modern Greek (asides from pronunciation). The placement test which she gave quickly became apparent as a waste of time, so I asked to do something else, since I don't know modern grammar or vocabulary. She had nothing else and ended the lesson early.
For someone with no knowledge of any Greek, she might be a great teacher, but probably not for someone in my situation.
