Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile! Here's a quick personal introduction: my favorite topics to discuss include food, dance, music, fine arts, fashion, technology, philosophy, literature, and everyday musings. My hobbies include cooking, dancing, drawing, painting, designing, and making fun things. My life and travels have taken me to many places far and wide, with some very interesting adventures. I have been teaching ESL for a total of 35 years, and have been a certified ESL teacher for 29 years. My passion for teaching comes from my own love of learning languages. I currently speak five languages, and am looking forward to learning more! My firsthand understanding of the challenges one faces when learning a new language gives me a rare insight into how to address students' needs. One of my specialties is bringing students out of their shells, helping them overcome shyness or fear around making mistakes. Each lesson is customized, because students’ needs and goals can change over time. What I expect from students is their commitment to improve their English, and to keep an open mind and heart. Honestly, I joined the lesson motivated and eager to learn, but I quickly felt uncomfortable due to the teaching style. I ended the session early, disappointed. I hope the platform reviews instructor quality and future learners read reviews carefully
