Hello, I’m Marion. I was born in Paris and spent 25 years in this beautiful city, earning my Master’s at the Fine Arts School of Paris. Now an expat in Germany, I’m raising my bilingual daughter. I’ve lived in various places, including a small village near Normandy, Luxembourg and Berlin. I enjoy traveling, my paintings too :) There were in Korea and China. In my free time, I love going to the cinema, playing board games and visiting exhibitions. I continue to train and read extensively. With 12 years of teaching experience, I’ve guided a diverse range of students, from children to seniors and beginners to advanced learners. Alongside my Master’s in Fine Arts, I hold a certification in teaching French as a Foreign Language from Alliance Française. My background as an art teacher and artist enriches my approach, allowing me to bring creativity and depth to my lessons. I’ve taught at institutions like the University of Stuttgart and Institut Français. I prioritize speaking and self-expression, while also integrating listening, reading, and writing. I provide detailed feedback on your speaking and writing, which you can review later. Using diverse media—videos, audios, pictures, texts, and additional books—I tailor lessons to your goals, interests, and needs (grammar, vocabulary, phonetics). Whether preparing for an exam, an interview, or exploring art and French culture, I offer engaging activities and a learning plan for between lessons. My Lessons with Marion are excellent. I have had various lessons on italki over the years and honestly feel hers are some of the most professional and useful I have experienced. Her lessons are structured and organised, and she is very accommodating to any direction I want to take. She is also patient and meticulous in correcting me as I speak which is important to me. I feel I am making progress and highly recommend!

It was my second class with Marion. The class was amazing. Very well prepared around my interests. Marion was super patient, dedicated and committed to my learning. She made the class very fun and insightful at the same time. Loved it and already booked the next one.
