I am convinced that patience and empathy are important qualities in a teacher. I always try to create a comfortable environment for my students. I have helped my students overcome shyness and feel more confident in their first speaking stage. Also, I am experienced in teaching intermediate, advanced students, and medical professionals who want to improve communication with Latin American patients. We will practice grammar and vocabulary, speaking about topics that the student knows well and, over time, increasing the conversation's complexity to improve fluency in the language in different contexts. We can also simulate situations, for example: job interviews, communication with clients and colleagues, going out with friends, requesting tourist information or conversations to break the ice. We will practice grammar through PDF files, text documents, PPT slide show, videos, homework, etc. to create a solid base in the knowledge of the Spanish language according to the student's objectives.Il mio materiale didattico

Lucia is a great teacher. Not only in explaining the language but also in reinforcing what you have learned. Through practice conversations, Lucia can point out areas that need to be worked on. The plans feel more personable, instead of being led to the next lesson to the next lesson. I highly recommend Lucia for your Spanish learning needs!

I am an English (USA) italki teacher and I refer my students to Lucia for Spanish and EVERY single student of mine who has studied with Lucia, has AMAZING things to say about her! She is motivational, intelligent, funny and sincere. Hers is the only method that I found, which works perfectly for continual, and steady progress. If you've hit a roadblock with your Spanish, Lucia is the lady to talk to. Whatever your frustration is with Spanish, Lucia has all of the RIGHT answers.
