Hi! My name is Katie and I'm 28 years old and I'm an English teacher. I have always loved learning languages and have spent 3 years living in Madrid mastering the Spanish language and at the same time sharing my knowledge of the English language. Before arriving in Madrid I spent 4 years in Manchester studying a degree of business management with Spanish. Studying Spanish as part of my degree created a passion within me for exploring and learning about different cultures and even languages, where I am currently learning Italian and constantly seeking to expand and improve my studies.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I have spent two and a half years working at a language academy giving classes to a wide range of students of different levels, ranging from babies to C2 proficiency classes. Additionally with my TEFL I believe I have gained a lot of experience and I believe that my classes are dynamic, interesting and that I have the skills to adapt to all levels! My lessons are very dynamic covering interesting topics which makes learning fun and exciting while all the time reinforcing and practicing English using a wide range of resources. Having learnt Spanish I can relate to students' learning needs as I have been through the same processes and I am able to understand what is useful and enjoyable. I love taking lessons with Catherine! Her classes are always interesting and full of energy. We talk about different topics that are modern and useful, and she always shares great materials like articles, podcasts, and news. They help me improve my English and learn more about the world.
What I like the most is that after each lesson, Catherine sends me notes. She shows my mistakes, gives correct examples, and shares links to helpful resources. This really helps me understand everything better and not make the same mistakes again. Her lessons are well-organized, but she always changes them to match my goals. I highly recommend Catherine!
