I am Damla, a certified Turkish language instructor with six years of specialized experience in teaching grammar, conversational skills, and accelerated fluency programs. I have given more than 6,000 lessons on Italki. Holding a background in translation studies, I have successfully guided international students from diverse linguistic backgrounds to achieve proficiency in Turkish. Fluent in 5 languages, including Turkish, English, Italian, Urdu and Hindi, I possess a unique ability to facilitate cross-cultural understanding and make Turkish language acquisition more accessible. I would like to be helpful in your language learning journey. I aim to find out the best method and prepare the right schedule for you and fasten your Turkish learning process. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
First of all, I will determine your Turkish level and then will prepare a schedule for you to fasten your learning process. I will separately deal with your writing, speaking, listening, and reading skills if you like to. Our lesson will depend on your need. If you need more grammer lessons, or speaking lessons, we will focus on that. Also, I will give you homework when needed. Through my experiences, the most important thing in my lessons is note-taking. I'll be also writing what we have talked about in the (Skype) chat or I'll directly share a document that I can write the notes and you can also have those note files after the lesson.Il mio materiale didattico

Damla is very kind, patient and friendly. Her approach is very professional but chill and relaxed at the same time, which is really great. She always brings interesting topics to the table to discuss and I always feel at ease to talk with her. I loved having Damla as a teacher. She is super friendly and good at explaining.She gave me a lot of positive feedbacks which motivated me. Grammar almost seemed easy to learn! :)

I had many lessons with Damla, and I will continue to study with her, as she is a very talented teacher and a pleasant person to communicate with. She feels the mood and state of the student and knows at what moment to increase the requirements, and at what moment to switch to more relaxed informal communication. Learning with her is not only useful, but also pleasant - which is very motivating in the difficult process of learning new language.
