I am a personable teacher and I love to get to know each student and their needs and wants with English. I am a creative person so I use my creativity in teaching and use a variety of materials to teach. I teach elementary, intermediate, and advanced students in many different skills of English, such as Pronunciation, Grammar, Listening Comprehension, Writing, Speaking, Exam Preparation and more.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I start by developing a good rapport with each student because it is important for the lessons to feel like a very safe and comfortable place for me and the student. I listen to each student's needs and desires in English, assess level, and make an appropriate plan for them. Private English TeacherI offered private and small group lessons to students of all ages (from toddler to 60 years old) out of my home. I had General English, Business English & Test-Prep students. This helped me integrate into the community, to form good working relationships with students and parents, utilize my creativity, & adapt to students of all different ages and English needs.
2015 - 2020
English TeacherI taught children, teenagers and adults General English, Business English & Test Preparation (TOEFL, TOEIC, First, SAT English). I was responsible for private lessons and group lessons. In my private lessons, I was responsible for conducting a thorough needs analysis with each student and creating an individual syllabi tailored to that student's needs and desires for learning English. In group lessons, I was responsible for covering a set number of topics and concepts.
2015 - 2020
CTEFL TrainerIn this school I held 2 positions: English Teacher and CTEFL Trainer. As a CTEFL Trainer I was responsible for training people who wanted to earn a CTEFL Certificate with Via Lingua. We held about 10 1-month 120-hour courses per year and I was responsible for teaching Pedagogy and observing teaching sessions with the trainees where they taught to real students. Following these observations, I conducted post-teaching conferences. I also conducted much of the administrative work and grading.
2020 - 2022
English TeacherI have been teaching Italki since May, 2020. I am proud of my ratio of students to lessons and have met some incredible people all over the world!

Alex is a very professional tutor who is always great at finding the right activities and exercises to help me develop the English skills I need. The assignments she gives me allow me to practice a lot of appropriate exercises, and the many great expressions and tips she gives me in class help me improve my practice even more. I always feel like I learn a lot from her enthusiasm and good talent, and I am always grateful to her. If someone is thinking about which tutor they want to take a class with in italki, I think they should choose Alex and they will never regret that choice. :)

All lessons with Alexandra have a number of parts - from recent personal news discussion to review of articles/grammar rules and making exercises on them. Transition between the parts is very natural and unnoticeable, so it comes about that the content of an article ensues from the conversation we've hold. All lessons with Alexandra are perfectly balanced between free conversation, which improves fluency, and materials reviewing, which improves knowledge of specific topics and general education level. We discussed a TED-talk video about false (eyewitnesses) memory. The topic is very new for me, it comprises quite a number of new words and word collocations. Alexandra offered an engaging way to practice new things via a designed exercise. Time flew so quickly, easily and productive, as it always does in Alexandra's lessons.
