丁子健（Daniel Ding)

After about 2 years of Chinese self-learning, I finally decided to overcome my fears and book 30 minutes with a native speaker for the sake of trying to have a real time conversation with a mother tongue speaker. Daniel immediately understood my needs and did a great job at probing the level of my Chinese while keeping me engaged. He also came across as very personable, which helped me relax pretty quickly despite my fears and lack of confidence. Highly recommended for newbie/beginner level learners who wish to simulate as well as possible a full immersion scenario and obtain valuable feedback at the same time.

Daniel is very warm and easy to talk to. In our first lesson together, Daniel was well prepared. The lesson moved seamlessly from introductions to textbook and he made the whole experience very personable. Extra points for screen sharing so we could look at the text on screen together! Highly recommend!

Great lesson, lots of speaking practise and role play speaking activities. Explanations are clear. I especially enjoyed that we moved through the book quickly and did not stay on a section for too long. This way I can develop it more in my own time. The teacher is happy to be teaching
