It’s always such immense pleasure to have natural, intellectually engaging, and spontaneous conversations every week with Dariya, who seems to have read or become intimately familiar with every major work of literature in and out of Russia. Our discussions dive into immersive discussions of daily life, books, history, and culture that leave plenty of room for self-reflection and opportunities to identify and work on gaps in my knowledge of Russian. She’s such a wonderful, deeply experienced, patient and astute teacher who helps you practice Russian as effectively as possible.

Dariya is an amazing teacher. She always finds a balance between being letting you try yourself and always being there so you never feel lost. She explains extremely well, is super-patient and is always ready to answer questions. There is never a guarantee for success, but with Dariya, it’s not easy to fail. If you do, question your efforts, not this teacher.

Dariya is an awesome teacher. She presents information that is a perfect balance of academic and practical - you will be able to use phrases and know why you are saying it, leading to a really great experience. Looking forward to more!

I have been taking classes with Daria since mid-March. Although I previously took Russian classes in college, they were not as in-depth or as patient as my sessions with Daria. She truly encourages you to speak, goes at your own pace, and never rushes to the next lesson until you are comfortable with the material. She also provides helpful audios, notes, and homework to review between sessions. I cannot stress enough how detail oriented she is, the amount of progress I have made in such a short amount of time is such a great feeling. I highly recommend her!

Great teacher! Highly recommend.
