Hi! My name is Sara and I come from Italy. I was born and raised in a town near Milan, but now I live near Cuneo, in Southern Piedmont, in the beautiful Maritime Alps. I have been a language teacher for almost ten years, but even before that I have always loved learning languages (I am currently learning German).Che tipo di insegnante sono
I like being an easygoing and friendly teacher, one that likes having a good laugh with her students! I'm a CELTA certified teacher, which means I'm up to date with the best practices regarding teaching a foreign language to adults, which means: structure when and where necessary, but lots of communication and a general focus on what is useful for you! Your lessons with me will be tailored to your needs, to who you are and why you are learning Italian (school, work, tourism, leisure). And to your level, of course. I like using a book, especially for beginners and elementary students, but we'll decide together what's best for you!

CELTA - International House Milan - 2020The course included collaborative planning, peer observation and shared evaluation and feedback. Within this framework each participant completed 6 hours of individual teaching which was observed and assessed by an experienced trainer. The course also included 60 hours of input and 6 hours of observation of experienced teachers.

Sara is a wonderful teacher. Her confidence made me feel confident. The lesson went by so fast because it was fun and I was engaged the entire time. She was well prepared for the lesson with activities and is a gentle and knowledgable teacher.
I am excited to continue my Italian lessons with her!
I highly recommend her as a teacher.

I'm very happy with Sara as a teacher, she is patient and kind! We cover a different topic each lesson, but when I need more explanation she is happy to provide extra materials and examples. She gives me plenty of speaking and practice time during the lesson and diverse assignments for after class (writing, listening, reading, grammar practise).
