Salam! I’m Mahtab, a native Farsi speaker and certified Persian teacher with a master’s in Teaching Persian to non-native speakers. Whether you’re starting from scratch or polishing fluency, I’ll help you speak naturally while exploring Iran’s rich culture, art, and idioms. When I’m not teaching, I’m probably hiking, cooking Persian dishes, or writing language resources (yes, I’ve authored books too!). I’m a Persian teacher with over 5 years of experience who has a bachelor degree in Linguistics and master degree in Teaching Persian to non-Persian speakers. I’m a Persian language material developer and book author too. I’ve taught Persian online and face to face to both kids and adults.

As no two students are the same, I tailor my lessons to each students' individual needs and learning method.
I offer different packages for different students and I spend a lot of time creating original and useful resources for our sessions and share them with you.
I correct mistakes and help you sound more natural in a positive way which builds your confidence.

Lessons with Mahtab are always fun and well worth the time. She is a dedicated and hard working teacher. She matches your level and adjusts her teaching so that you are always growing. Explanations are thorough and creative. She is the real deal! I've been very happy with my experience thus far.

Mahtab is a really nice and very competent teacher. I'm slowly learning Persian, and her enthusiasm and organization have helped me stay on track (and get back on track when I fall behind for a few weeks). She provides clear lesson materials covering both formal (written) and spoken (informal) Persian, and I've taken several lessons with her by now and would highly recommend her.

Mahtab is an excellent and professional teacher. She pays attention to details, encourages proper pronunciation, and has a good command of managing class flow. Highly recommended!
