Oi Gente!!!! Tudo bem??? I am Cherise but you can feel free to call me Chê because it’s easier. I am from Southern California but I live close to Atlanta, Georgia now. I have been learning Portuguese since 2017 and I have been teaching English to Brazilians for since 2019. When I am not teaching in my own business, Inglês para Brazucas, I teach English as a Second Language at the university in my city. I like to have fun in class. I don’t think learning English or Portuguese should be boring. I like for my students to feel comfortable, like they are talking to a friend. I understand many challenges that come with learning a new language and I support my students on their journey. I teach mainly through conversation, but I have many resources to use as needed. I like to have fun in class. We will smile and talk a lot. We will laugh a lot. My classes are very conversational because I believe the best way to learn is to start speaking from the very beginning. I like to work with students from all levels and my classes are specially made with attention to the needs of the student.Certificati

Outstanding class! Ms. Wesson is such a good teacher. In few seconds, I felt encouraged and free to speak without hesitation, because Ms. Wesson was able to set a warming and welcoming atmosphere. She was so supportive.
