I chose Myriam because her class description looked like a perfect match for what I needed: pronunciation practice, vocabulary expansion, and using natural and appropriate expressions. And that’s exactly what she provides! Her warm & approachable style made me feel comfortable and allowed me to easily dive into conversations about everyday life and topics of my choosing. She identifies pronunciation and article issues and corrects them in a way that feels encouraging rather than critical. Her focus on natural and appropriate expressions is helping me sound more fluent and confident, which is one of my main goals. The personalized new vocabulary and corrections she sends after each session are invaluable for reviewing and building on what I learned. Overall, Myriam’s program is a perfect blend of fun, flexibility, and focused learning. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to take their conversational French to the next level.

My lessons with Myriam involve conversations. There are no prepared texts, no studying and no homework. We talk about subjects that arise naturally, although if I have questions about French usage I have encountered during the week we discuss that. Our conversations are always interesting. I look forward to speaking with Myriam each week. My level of conversational French has risen considerably since I began to meet with Myriam. I am comfortable speaking French now, although I was not so comfortable when I began my studies with her. Thank you, Myriam!
