I’ve been doing volunteer teaching for many years, which helped me learn how to explain things clearly to students from different language backgrounds. I understand the challenges of learning a new language — because I’ve been through this journey myself.
I’m a native speaker of Russian and Tajik, and I also speak English and Persian. Recently, I’ve started learning Turkish, so I truly know what it feels like to be a student again.
I’ve gained a lot of experience, and I’d love to help you feel confident speaking a new language.

I really enjoyed my lesson with Malika! For my first lesson, she provided a very thorough introduction to greetings, making sure to teach the relevant dialect for where I will visit. There was also an opportunity for speaking practice, which was helpful. I feel excited to keep learning!
