I am a Beverlie from England, UK. I love travelling, being active and meeting new people. I am an active outdoor person (when I'm not being lazy) and love hiking, running, swimming and generally being outdoors in nature. I love talking and my favourite topics of conversation are travel, current affairs, environment, psychology and well-being.
I studied psychology at University and have a keen interest in this area. After university, I went on to train as a teacher and worked in highschools before switching to a career online.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I have been teaching for 15 years now. I have taught in high schools, institutions, and online. I have experience working with all levels of students, from advanced to beginner. I have extensive experience working with young children from the age of 4. Additionally, for the last 2 years I have specialised in adult teaching, focusing on improving speaking and listening skills. Furthermore, I have experience supporting students preparing for the IETLS and Cambridge exams.

I am an adaptive and flexible teacher. I will quickly assess your level and individual needs and adapt our lessons to ensure you or your child meet your full learning potential as quickly as possible. All courses come with all material provided, including PDF, PPT, text, videos and audio. I will design a personalised lesson plan and learning trajectory to suit your learning needs. For Kids lessons, we will work with interactive presentations, videos and stories to ensure your child starts speaking and using the language from their first lesson. For IELTS I use specially designed material that is drawn from Cambridge materials. All lessons come with homework tasks if students desire these.Il mio materiale didattico

Teacher and Teacher evaluatorI worked for Whales English for 2 years. My main role was as an ESL teacher for young learners from the age of 4 up to 14. I also evaluated teacher classes and gave feedback and advice on how to further improve their classes. Beverlie has been tutoring my 12-year-old daughter for about a year and a half now and we can see lots of progress. My daughter likes the way the lessons are structured, loves the videos and stories and finds Beverlie kind and supportive. Moreover, Beverlie is very responsive and adjusts her lessons to cover topics my daughter learns in school. We are very happy we found Beverlie on italki.

Beverlie is a great teacher! She adapts to every student's needs and level. She was my first teacher here on italki and I couldn't be happier with my choice.
