Ilse is a wonderful teacher! She tailors lessons to what I need to practice. She's on time and professional. Most of all, I truly enjoy our conversations!

Ilse is the best teacher I can imagine, whether you are starting at zero or you want to improve your Spanish. The lessons are very well prepared and she is always flexible to respond to individual requests spontaneously. She keeps me motivated to continue learning and practicing. The lessons are fun and in an relaxed atmosphere. If you are looking for a good teacher, book a lesson with Ilse! :-)

Llevo 6 meses estudiando con Ilse. He disfrutado mi tiempo con ella y no podría imaginar un mejor maestro! Antes de conocer a ella, yo estaba tomando clases de grupo con una escuela en linea. Yo no estaba mejorando tan rápidamente como yo quería. Desde que empecé con ella, siento que mis habilidades mejoraran. Aprendiendo con ella es como hablando con una amiga :) No hay estrés, y siempre estoy cómoda de pedir más explicaciones. Aún estoy aprendiendo, pero realmente recomiendo Ilse.

Ilse is one of the two best language teachers I've had the pleasure of studying under (including French, Italian, and Spanish teachers). She holds you accountable for your own learning by encouraging you to arrive to the answer yourself rather than just handing you the answer. It pushes me to recall previous material, make mental connections, and I even feel more motivated for self-study so that I am better prepared for each class. Her lessons are fun and she is easy to talk with, I am always surprised at the end that we still cover so much material. She gives the opportunity to ask questions, goes back to material that might be a personal weak spot, without dragging it so that you feel stuck on the same material forever. She has been very understanding, patient, and flexible with me. I really enjoy our lessons together and look forward to our weekly meeting. Muchas gracias Ilse!!
