I’m a Mexican teacher specializing in professionals, older adults, and improv theater lovers.
If you're growing your career, planning to move abroad, or simply want to feel more confident using Spanish in real life — I’d be happy to support your learning.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing basketball, watching series, and reading about culture, tech, and current events — and I love turning those interests into conversation topics en español.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Languages and have over 10 years of teaching experience.
My teaching focuses on both conversation and grammar to help students improve fluency and accuracy.
I focus on creating a safe space where you can express yourself freely, make mistakes without fear, and grow as a learner.

I offer two types of lessons: conversation and grammar.
🗣️ Conversation classes come in three formats—by level, Mexican culture, or Bible study—and are designed to help you speak naturally and appropriately in real-life situations.
📖 Grammar classes are structured for beginners and personalized for intermediate students.
We work through clear explanations, practical examples, and optional homework, all tailored to your learning needs.
Each class is relaxed yet well-organized, with conversation at the center. I offer gentle corrections as you speak and share helpful notes afterward so you can review and keep improving between sessions.Il mio materiale didattico

It is clear that Rocio has a lot of teaching experience. Good instructions and materials, and a plan for future lessons. Combine all this with a relaxed and comfortable manner and you get an effective, fun class.
All you could look for in a teacher.
I highly recommend.

Rocio is a fantastic teacher-- She's calm, creative, patient and a good conversationalist. I started taking lessons with Rocio four months ago before visiting Mexico. Currently I'm enrolled in a Spanish language school in Mexico and meet with Rocio three times a week to practice my pronunciation and improve my speaking and comprehension skills. I appreciate Rocio calmness and how she is very patient when I mispronounce words, or don't know a word, or if I use the wrong verb conjugation. She is also always sharing online resources with me to help improve my skills and is always willing to help me with my homework if I ask for help. I highly recommend Rocio.
