Hello everyone. I am a big fan of languages. I love visiting new places and wherever I go, I try to learn some local vocabulary and phrases. Moreover, I like music – listening and piano playing – that's why I really care about good pronunciation. I am able to talk about various topics, so don't hesitate do contact me.
About Slovakia and Slovak language. People always argue if it's Eastern or Central Europe, so let's make a compromise: we'll call it the Eastern part of Central Europe. Since it is surrounded by other mostly slavic nations, it has the advantage of being able to understand pretty well the other languages like Czech, Polish, Ukrainian (which has a different script though).
Che tipo di insegnante sono
In my private life, I am a teacher in a college, but not of languages... But I am quite creative and I think I can catch up with your needs and adjust my explanation to what you expect. I am also fond of grammar, etymologies and connection between different languages.
I have also a busy work life but still I want to be helpful with teaching others my language, so I will try to do my best to find a mutually suitable time for a lesson. Currently, I reside in another part of the world so the time difference can be sometimes an issue. In case my available time slots don't fit yours, please contact me and we can find other options. I don't have a fancy introduction video but I will try to explain myself with words...
I am here to help you to learn or practice Slovak, this minor yet useful slavic language, but my primary goal is that everyone of us has fun at talking. I have experience of studying a couple of languages so maybe I can explain to you many things in your own language if necessary.
My main point is practicing conversation while explaining basic grammar or slang expressions. We can discuss a lot of topics according to your preferences. Why don't give it a try? I can't wait to meet you in class.Il mio materiale didattico

I really appreciate when teachers go out of their way to provide examples and charts for concepts I'm struggling with and Jakub is amazing at this. When I mention wanting to improve in a certain area he takes it to heart and makes personalized content to use for the next lesson. He's the best!

Jakub is an excellent teacher. He obviously knows quite a lot about languages and prepares plenty of materials and charts to aid with understanding. I enjoyed talking to him!

Jakub is very patient and he always provides new materials to help me on my battle of learning Slovak language, always trying to understand my difficulties and in a very friendly way he constantly advice me what to do to improve my speaking and memorization skills. Jakub ist ein ausgezeichneter Lehrer. Für meine Bedürfnisse ein idealer Lehrer, dem es gelungen ist, durch seinen sehr abwechslungsreichen Unterricht das Interesse für seine sehr schwierige Muttersprache zu fördern. Seine Erklärungen dazu sind fundiert und aufschlussreich. Ich kann Jakub als Slowakischlehrer allen sehr empfehlen!!!!!
