Hi, my name is Paul and I am a specialist in both accent reduction (helping you to be clearer and easier to understand) and in developing a modern standard British accent (think Tom Hiddleston or Gemma Chan).
I am currently based in Prague, and prior to my teaching career, I worked in finance and as an actor.
Che tipo di insegnante sono
I starting teaching English in 2017 and since then have taught many hundreds of different students from teenagers to older adults, in groups and individually, from A1-C2, in-person and online, covering business law, general English grammar, vocabulary, writing, listening and speaking.
But the thing I love most is to coach people to change their accent. I have so much fun in lessons and I'm passionate about developing my own skills and knowledge, as I help my students to develop theirs. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
Conversation with me is friendly, respectful, hopefully intelligent and funny sometimes too. I will correct any significant mistakes I hear, but I will also join in with topic as well.
Pronunciation exercises include technical instruction, and mirroring (trying to copy my sounds) as well as freer practice using pieces of writing that I like.Il mio materiale didattico

I highly recommend Paul if you’re serious about improving your pronunciation. Native speakers may speak perfect English, but it’s rare to find someone who can teach pronunciation professionally like he does.

I had been taking English pronunciation lessons from Japanese teachers because I couldn’t find a native speaker who could provide truly professional pronunciation training. But I’ve finally found a teacher I’m completely satisfied with. The lesson was very fulfilling — the teacher was patient, dedicated, and taught me with great care. I’m really looking forward to our next lesson.
