Dylan

Dylan is wonderful. I had been studying independently but wanted better conversational skills before a trip to Korea. Our weekly sessions made a huge difference. The lessons were interesting and customizable to what I wanted to learn. He was extremely patient and encouraging, which sped up the process. I *highly* recommend him.

I would recommend this teacher over and over again. He has been an extremely effective means of improving in Korean. The class is challenging so you can grow but runs smoothly and is an enjoyable learning environment.

Just finished my first lesson with Dylan. I did his “Writing practice” class, which consists of messaging back and forth. It was great to get immediate corrections to my sentences (vocabulary that I wrote in English that he provided the Korean word for/Grammar point like using or not using particles). Having the option to message in real time allows you to practice your reading comprehension skills while also challenging yourself to form a sentence and reply quickly (within 1 minute) in order to maintain the conversation. I think this class is great if you want to practice forming sentences, practice your reading skills, or if you’re not quite ready, or confident enough to speak in Korean.
