I'm very extroverted and love to be in touch with other cultures. I love travelling, outdoors sports and learning languages myself. A bit about my background: I've studied tourism and worked as flight attendant for some time. My favourite part of that job, was to have the chance to interact with people from all ages and very different backgrounds. That took me to my next step, which was to finish my studies to become a teacher of Spanish as foreign language. To continue sharing and interacting with people from other cultures. I consider myself a very curious person and I am always learning somehing new. I truly believe in: "Once you stop learning, you start dying"

Having lived abroad for several years, in Germany, Senegal and Dubai, I have a great understanding of how is it to have to communicate on a daily basis in a language that's not your native one, and I've found my own techniques to make learning a language more simple.
I can provide you with a wide range of materials that I had been working with during my more than 5 years as a language teacher for adults and as well children, in different countries.

I'd like to start with a little conversation, questions and answers to see your level and how far can we push it during a class. You may be asked to do some work on your own if you wish to do so, to make the most of every second of the lesson by clarifying your doubts and putting into practice what you have learnt until now. I work with a wide selection of teaching materials, from books to learning websites, and I love to use activities specifically tailored to every student´s profile and needs. We will do role-plays, presentations, speaking activities with flashcards and games, and you will be guided towards your objective while having fun along your learning journey.Il mio materiale didattico

Spanish TeacherAfter the closure of the language institute that I was working for, I started my own project called Learn Spanish in Dubai, where I have been teaching groups and private lessons in Dubai and online too.

Internship in Primary Education TeachingRecently, I combine my internship in Primary Education Teaching, where I work with wonderful children (6-12 years old); with online lessons on italki.

Cabin CrewI've had the chance to get to know different cultures, to travel around the world, to work in a cosmopolitan environment and, to learn and putting into practise several languages while being a cabin crew. Therefore, no worries about making mistakes when speaking, I'll be able to put myself in your shoes, I know how hard can be to try to communicate in a foreign language, but also, how pleasant it is when you manage to make that conversation flow! Don't give up, all this effort is worth it!

As a student of 10 classes thus far... Marion has the right temperament for teaching, she is very extroverted, open and agreeable. But below all that sits an analytical and watchful engine, taking notes of the topics that interest and motivate you, while analyzing your strengths and weaknesses and adapting the class to suit you. She's well prepared with resources for any questions or specific things you might ask about, she's organized and very professional. She also speaks English, which is useful when translating expressions, where a knowledge of both languages is a huge advantage. Although you would expect these things from a professionally trained Spanish teacher, I think what sets Marion above other teachers I have had is her personal ability to adapt to the audience. I bet she could switch from teaching 5 year olds to 70 year olds at the flick of switch. That's not something you can really learn, it's just something you are.

Marion is brilliant at tailoring sessions to my needs and interests and this comes from the friendship that she forms as a teacher and the care she has for her work. I have taken classes with Marion for 5 years now and she still had the same energy and enthusiasm for her work as she did when we first started. I can’t thank her enough FM for the help she’s given me.

I have been taking classes with Marion for over a year now and I couldn't be happier with my Spanish teacher. She is always on time, well prepared, in a good mood and supportive. I can ask her about whatever problem I might be having with grammar or vocabulary. She can explain things very well and it helps that she can speak so many other languages as well. Thank you Marion, I'm looking forward to alot more Spanish lessons with you :)
