Hello everyone! My name is Deja Banks. I am a native English speaker from the United States. I was born in Irving, Texas and I currently live in Grand Prairie, Texas. I am a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and I have an English as a second language certification here in Texas. I have experience teaching and working with a wide variety of students with diverse backgrounds. I love traveling, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures. I have been learning Spanish for 2.5 year and I recently started learning Italian as well.

I am very flexible with my teaching. I love to focus on meeting the needs of my students. I know that each student is unique and has a different way of learning. I like to teach using different methods like games, the use of music, reading activities, and fun writing activities. My lessons will be tailored to meet your goals, preferences, and learning style. Also, I like to integrate reading, speaking, reading, and writing to enhance the learning experience. I teach children, teenagers, and adults. I offer lessons: - improving reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills - improving conversational skills through casual conversation - helping with English homework and assignments

My lessons will focus on improving your conversational skills. We can talk about the topics that interest you the most. I will help you improve your English grammar, pronunciation, listening skills, writing skills, and vocabulary. I will correct your grammar mistakes during our lesson and explain/demonstrate the correct grammar and/or pronunciation. Most importantly, I will encourage you and provide you with a positive learning environment.
