Mark

Mark is very prepared, great structure to class. Offers lots of material and is a very bright amiable person. It’s a pleasure to study with him.

Mark is smart, kind and very engaged. He uses very helpful materials in the classroom. I would not hesitate recommending him to anyone who really wants to understand the language.

I’ve had 6 lessons so far with Mark, and I’ve really been impressed. He does a great job with getting straight into conversation. We did not just start with present tense, so I have been learning from the beginning how to incorporate more tenses into conversation. His explanations of difficult concepts for beginners such direct and indirect objects or how Spanish is actually used in various countries have been really helpful. It’s been a very different and positive Spanish learning experience for me, and I’m excited to continue with him.

I've lost count with how many lessons I've taken with Mark at this point, but I've enjoyed every single one of them. Mark was able to quickly assess what level of Spanish I was at and tailored classes to my level. After just a handful of weeks I can notice my understanding (both listening and reading) has improved. I also feel much more comfortable speaking Spanish as Mark gives a lot of opportunities to practice; he's quick and gentle with corrections, which helps correcting mistakes. Looking forward to continuing lessons with Mark and would highly recommend trying his classes!
