Hello! I’m originally from Philadelphia, USA, but I currently live in New York. I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and English Education from Columbia University. I am not currently accepting young children.
I’m passionate about languages and cultures, and I’ve had the opportunity to travel to many countries, meeting people from all over the world. In my free time, I enjoy lifting weights, running, yoga, meditation, hiking, and spending time in nature.

Reading, writing, listening, and speaking are the main pillars of learning a language, but I believe everyone learns in their own unique way. Matthew is a very patient and attentive teacher. During the lesson, he always listens carefully to what I say and patiently corrects my pronunciation and expressions. He explains things in a very clear and simple way, which makes it much easier for me to understand. Learning with him feels relaxed, and it also gives me more confidence to speak English. I really appreciate his help and look forward to learning more with him.
