Hi, I'm Gina! I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. I received my Master of Education in TESOL and my Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Asian Studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo. I'm currently a college-level ESL instructor in Raleigh, North Carolina. In my spare time, I also enjoy learning languages! I used to live in South Korea, where I took Korean language courses. I'm also currently studying Spanish and I hope to add more languages to the list in the future! I also enjoy learning about geography, playing video games, and finding delicious recipes to make in the kitchen.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I'm a TESOL-Certified ESL instructor with over 6 years of experience teaching adults of all levels in big classes, small groups, 1-one-1 tutoring, and online. As both a language teacher and a student myself, I know how important it is to find a teacher that suits your needs and preferred learning styles. Some of my students really dislike heavily structured lessons, while others prefer a very clear and concrete plan for each session. I choose to incorporate student-centered reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities that appeal to a variety of learning styles. I design my lesson plans mindful of each individual student's needs and preferences. My experience, as both a language learner and teacher, has made me aware of the excitement and challenges of living abroad and learning another language. I am confident that my academic background, my teaching and cultural experiences, and my passion for watching students succeed will make me the perfect addition to your language learning journey.
