I spent 6 years in the U.S. (LA, Philly, Boston) studying brains, researching biology, and collecting frequent flyer miles. Before that, I lived 5 years in Montréal where I learned to survive snow and speak fluent Franglais.
Now back in Paris, I work in clinical research and tutor French & English with 6+ years of experience. I’m cheerful, patient, and genuinely believe learning works best when you’re laughing a little. So far I have taken two lessons with Aurélie, and I was super impressed both times. Right from the very first lesson, I felt super comfortable to speak with her and she made the atmosphere very friendly, easy going and safe. My goals are mostly to work on my conversational skills in french in a variety of topics, and was super content with how she handled the lesson. The perfect balance of correcting my mistakes when necessary, using every day french expressions, giving her own personal experiences and thoughts but also listening and asking the right kinds of questions. She is incredibly knowledgable in a variety of topics, and I left my lessons feeling good, inspired, and motivated to improve my french. :) If you want to practice your conversational skills, definitely book a lesson with Aurélie, you wont be disappointed !!!

My lessons with Aurélie are the highlight of my week. She is one of the most encouraging and thoughtful professors I have had the pleasure of working with. I truly enjoy my lessons and have learned so much that now I am preparing for the DELF exam with confidence. I highly recommend her classes for anyone who wants to learn French!

Aurélie était une très bonne prof. Elle était patiente et avait beaucoup de choses à dire. La leçon da la science était très intéressant aussi, surtoût parceque c'est difficle à trouver les prof qui veut parler à la science ;)

Such a great lesson with Aurélie! I can tell a noticeable difference with my listening comprehension and with my confidence with speaking. I know with her help I will be able to achieve the level of fluency I have dreamed of achieving. Wonderful Professor! I highly recommend her classes.

Wonderful Teacher! If you are looking to learn French without anxiety or pressure that comes with speaking a new language Aurélie is the teacher for you. She makes every lesson fun, engaging, and educational. When I started my lessons I was barely able to hold a simple conversation. Now I am able to tell stories, talk about my day, and understand spoken French. Her lessons have made all the difference for me. I highly recommend you book a lesson with her today.
