My name is Nick and I've worked as an English language teacher for 10-15 years. I have taught at language schools in South-East Asia, and at colleges and universities in the UK. As an EFL teacher, I specialize in Academic English General English, Critical Thinking and Cambridge exam Preparation.
Lessons will feature: engaging activities and tasks, regular practice in the key language skills , detailed written feedback, error correction relating to grammar, vocabulary & pronunciation, a wide range of exercises and worksheets, test practice and feedback for exam prep. classes.
The main areas of teaching English as a foreign language that I have specialized in are General English, Business English, English for Academic Purposes, Critical Thinking and IELTS exam Preparation. Over the last several years, I have taught on numerous pre-sessional courses for students preparing to take a BA or MA degree in UK or Australian based universities.
Over my teaching career, I have instructed students of various ages, nationalities and backgrounds and I have a lot of experience teaching learners on a one-to-one basis.
In terms of credentials, I have gained a BA in Music, an MA in Education, and the English Language teaching qualifications of CELTA and DELTA.

My first lesson with Nick was great! We went through the speaking paper of the CAE exam and also practiced some writing. His feedback was clear, insightful, and straight to the point.

A very good teacher. The communication shows that the teacher is very attentive and professional. After class, they also ask if there are any questions. If there are any questions, they can provide timely feedback, and the teacher will make adjustments.
