I’m Dr. Sara 👩🏫 — a professional Arabic teacher and literary critic with over 9 years of experience.
I hold a BA in Arabic Language & Literature 📖, two diplomas in Teaching Arabic and Educational Psychology 🧠, and a PhD in Literary Criticism 🎓. I am also certified in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language (CCTAFL) from the American University in Cairo.
My research focuses on the psychological approach to Arabic novels, along with my interest in self-awareness, memory, and learning strategies 🧩. I have also published articles in the field of psychological literary criticism.

My focus is to build their confidence and fluency in all four skills: reading 📖, writing ✍️, listening 🎧, and speaking 💬 — with practical, everyday language at the heart of every lesson. Hello. My daughter has finished 11 lessons with DR Sara Mahmoud. The lessons were awesome, and I do happy with her progress. Before that my daughter doesn't know anything about Arabic language, but now she can read, write, understand and answer the common questions. Especially I would like to emphasize the qualities of DR Sara Mahmoud. She is honest, kind, open and experienced person. She is focused in reaching your aims and adapts the lessons for you if it needed. I do recommend having classes with DR Sara Mahmoud. Hope to continue work with her. Thank you.

I had a wonderful lesson with Dr. Sara! She provided excellent materials for homework from our previous lesson, and we reviewed them together today. Dr. Sara is a very patient and kind teacher. She pays close attention to details and corrects me in an encouraging manner.
