I have been working as a language teacher since 2013. I worked at two of the most important Brazilian school chains and as a consultant in teaching for CEOs and executives at a language teaching institute in Sao Paulo. In 2020, I started teaching online. My teaching background includes a Degree in Philosophy, an Improvement Course for Teachers held in Buenos Aires (Argentina, 2015), a specialization in Teaching Portuguese to Foreigners (Brazil, 2022), and a specialization in Business Pedagogy (Brazil, 2018). I am also a freelance journalist, ghostwriter and translator. Since 2014, I’ve been working part-time for publishing houses and independent authors.Che tipo di insegnante sono
As a language student since I was a child, I know how is to be in the place of the student. So, during my classes, I try to create an enjoyable environment, using techniques that allow an effective learning process. When I teach grammar, I like to bring it to real-life situations, in order to generate a complete understanding and usage. The results are marvelous!Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I like to motivate my students to speak a lot, even beginners! Of course, to achieve it, I use techniques and materials that facilitate the usage of what was taught. I have lots of slides, activities, songs, links of podcasts, videos and other pedagogic resources that are interesting and selected carefully to offer a nice experience of learning. I also share nice contents of Brazilian and Hispanic cultures and rich approaches about formal and informal expressions in a way to prepare the student to interact with a native speaker in a natural way.Il mio materiale didattico

Cleiton is a fantastic teacher! He is very professional, kind, and attentive. Today was my first class with Cleiton. I just scheduled a second class with him! Out of the seven or so tutors I have had on Italki, Professor Cleiton is the best.
Erudite, thorough, and patient, he carefully curates each lesson to suit my needs. When the lesson begins, Cleiton guides me through the material and exercises, taking copious notes while keenly giving me 100% attention.
I recommend Professor Cleiton to all.

Cleiton is an amazing teacher. He always comes with a plan for the session, depending on what you prefer to study. He is very patient and pays attention to details to really help you progress, in every aspect (vocabulary, pronunciation etc...). He has a very structured and organised approach, ideal to make you progress gradually. Really recommend!
