After my fourth lesson with Cécile, I can confidently say that she is one of the best tutors I have found on italki. If you are afraid of speaking French or lack confidence, I highly recommend learning with Cécile. She creates a comfortable and supportive environment where you don't have to worry about making mistakes. Thanks to her encouragement, I feel more confident speaking French with every lesson. What I really enjoy about practicing French with Cécile is that, even though I'm not fluent yet and struggle to express myself in french, she always encourages me to keep the conversation going. She is very patient, understanding, and adapts to my level. She also corrects my mistakes immediately during our conversations, which helps me learn and improve much faster. Excellent teacher! Particularly knowledgeable and resource on how the brain works to retain language. Offers a plan to move forward in learning the target language. At our introductory meeting we discussed how much to study daily (it may vary); when to study (time of day); what are the best activities to engage in while learning (whether listening, writing, or reading); how to incorporate language learning into my daily activities; and next steps to becoming fluent. I was very impressed with our first meeting. I look forward to working with Cecile in the future. This is a rave!
