I'm Emma, your Canadian English teacher! I decided to become an English teacher to support myself after moving to Spain. I quickly realised that I was passionate about the profession as it fits perfectly with my interests in travel, different cultures, and history. I am patient and friendly and love seeing my students progress in their language-learning journeys. My students have been very happy with our classes and I am delighted to have so many regulars. I am a student of languages myself (Spanish, French, and Portuguese), and I have also completed a certificate in Intercultural Communication.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I like to use conversation-style teaching, with an emphasis on grammar usage and proper syntax. I want students to gain higher confidence in their English-speaking by gaining familiarity with common expressions, idioms, phrasal verbs, and by growing their vocabulary. I think we are most motivated to learn when we can instantly understand the context in which presented target language or theory belongs, therefore I make a point to emphasize real world and day to day usage of English.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I offer classes in English that focus on conversation, expressions for everyday use, grammar, and cultural knowledge. I tailor my lessons based on your needs and motives for learning, and create my own worksheets and activities. I have taken classes with Emma and I’m very happy with her teaching style. She explains things clearly, corrects kindly, and is always attentive to my needs as a student. She speaks both English and Spanish, which is a big advantage if you ever need clarification. She’s Canadian and has a great accent. I totally recommend her if you want to improve your English with a patient and professional teacher :)

I highly recommend Emma for learning English. She is very warm and easy to have conversation with. She also speaks Spanish very well what is helpful for me!! I am looking forward to more classes.
