I have over 7 years of experience teaching English online and face-to-face to children and adults, in Vietnam, India, and Mexico, across public and private schools. I hold a TEFL, Kids ESL, and IELTS Teacher certification, plus a degree in Business & Enterprise Management.
I specialise in teaching kids through games, songs, and interactive activities, while also preparing adults for Business English and IELTS. My teaching style is relaxed, friendly, and adaptable, supported by my background as a yoga teacher, which brings patience, creativity, and an open mind to every lesson. Another wonderful lesson with Alana. We managed to talk about several topics and we did the ielts mock test together. Alana was really supportive and patient all over the test and did an amazing job. Also, I received feedback I need to improve my skills. There's no doubt that Alana truly deserves to be "a professional" teacher on our website. I really enjoy having lessons with Alana. We have a lot of speaking in the lessons. Alana provides a variety of content and resources based on my needs. I can choose topics that are interesting and close to me. As well we take some grammar topics which are not presented in a boring way. Lessons with Alana help me to develop my confidence in English. She is a really great teacher. Highly recommend!
