I am a native English speaker from near Brighton in the UK. My accent is neutral and very easy to understand. I live in England, but have lived all over the world including Vietnam, Thailand and Italy.
My hobbies include; cooking, socializing, eating, gym, travelling, reading, movies and sailing.
In fact, I used to be a professional sailor and have sailed all over the world.
I love talking to people and finding out about them. I have helped many people from all around the world to improve their English in a fun and relaxed environment.

I am a TEFL-qualified English teacher with a lot of experience teaching English and IELTS. I try to make my lessons practical and get my students to talk as much as possible. I want to improve your English and your confidence.
I have also taken several courses to help me to teach IELTS speaking and writing. Furthermore, I have helped many thousands of students to improve and prepare for the test.

Lessons are very practical. They are an opportunity for you to use your English, practice and improve upon what you already know.
I am always there to support and offer help and suggestions. However, most of my students need to practice using their English and this is what I try to encourage.

He really knows how to make the lessons enjoyable by illustrating example tasks with lots of idioms and very useful, practical examples. I learn a lot from him - he’s a very kind, polite teacher with a great sense of humor! I think Simon is the right teacher for you if you want to focus on IELTS exam tasks in a relaxed yet focused atmosphere.

In class, Simon helped me to correct the pronunciation of some words, modify some improper grammar, help me understand the process of IELTS speaking test, and let me know what the requirements for a good answer should be through examples. In general, this was a very helpful course.
