Hi, I’m Ella, and well as teaching English, I teach yoga, meditation and Shakti Dance 🕉
I love to travel and have worked in the US, Indonesia and Peru and visited some wonderful places in Europe. I would like to travel again soon💛🌍
I’m learning Italian - such a beautiful language! 💖
I study and practise self development, shamanic and esoteric traditions and I’m devoted to learning and healing, to awakening consciousness and to peace ❤️
Now, I live in Glastonbury, in the English countryside, a place of ancient legends and magic ✨🌿✨

I really enjoy teaching - it’s been a core element of many jobs I’ve had in the last 25 years I began teaching yoga and meditation in 2010, dance in 2014, energy work in 2018 and English conversation in March 2019 🥰
I am patient, intuitive, encouraging and very good at helping people to feel comfortable. I specialise in conversation practice for intermediate and advanced adult students 😄
Please note, I do not teach beginners or people under the age of 18.
Conversation practice helps to give you the confidence to actually speak. Many people can read, write and understand English really well but are afraid to speak and I can help! You can practice speaking and you can try new words and phrases in kind and supportive environment ☺️
My teaching style is relaxed, informal…and very effective! 🌟

Ella is a great teacher and a very pleasant person. She knows how to listen attentively and is empathetic. English lessons with her are not just about learning the language; they are also about meeting someone who has the ability to delve deeply into topics. Highly recommended! Ella is a fantastic teacher. Her kind and warming teaching style allowed me to develop a higher level of confidence. She has a very sensitive and encouraging way of correcting mistakes, and in every lesson, she gifts me not only new words but new perspectives!

It was amazing to have a class with Ella. I didn't expect to have such a deep conversation about meditation and spirituality in the first class, which I'm very grateful for. I really liked Ella's warm energy and overall mood of our talk.
