Hello! My name is Tianna. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communications and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiolgy/Exercise Science. I graduated with Lambda Pi Eta honors in the USA. I also earned the current 120-hour TEFL certification. I have tutored people ages 2 to 93! I have worked in elementary schools, reading programs, youth mentorship programs, skills training for individuals with disabilites, private tutoring and as a teacher and mentor in hospitals and in the community. I believe in conversational learning. I am a patient and encouraging teacher. I especially love to work with beginners. I also enjoy helping people with written English. I believe in conversational learning. I grew up in the United States and am a native English speaker. I took four years of formal classroom Spanish. I then moved to Mexico, and trying to dive into natural conversation was a challenge! My goal is to help people have the opportunity to learn English through "real world" conversational practice in topics that are relevant to their life, so they can have an easier transition than I did! This will help them spend less time in culture shock and more time exploring the world the way they want to. Why do you want to learn English? For a career? To travel the world? If you’re looking to improve your English, I highly recommend this teacher! Their lessons are clear, well-structured, and adapted to your level. They create a friendly and supportive learning environment that makes speaking and understanding English much easier. I’ve made noticeable progress and really enjoy every session.
