Felipe G ⭐️ Spanish

We always start our class by talking about different kinds of things and Felipe encourages me to speak a lot. I find this really helpful because I'm usually the type who just prefers to listen rather than speak. With this, I'm able to go outside of my comfort zone and I'm able to speak more than I thought I could. He's very encouraging and very professional. He's also very well-versed in grammar and culture.

Felipe goes above and beyond in every lesson. He's very cognizant of the Spanish language and he always corrects me when I make a mistake and explains clearly the correct usage of a word. He's already ready with a lesson plan and extremely professional.

Today’s focus is the neutral article lo. It was quite confusing at first because it’s not something that completely exists in the languages I know or if it does, it doesn’t translate perfectly. Despite that, Felipe helped me a lot by giving examples so I can understand its usage better. I’m forgetting vocabulary words every now and then but Felipe is helping me be reminded of these words whenever it seems like I can’t manage to remember them.

Felipe is a community tutor but his teaching is high quality, as good as or better than many professional teachers. I am a teacher myself with a degree in teaching and I have made very good progress with Felipe.

Today we wrapped up our discussion on the neutral article lo. I think I am able to better grasp it now although there’s still so much work for me to do before I can master it. For example, I’d have to keep using them in order to make it more natural for me to speak it. Practice makes perfect. As usual, Felipe kept the class very professional and with a very friendly attitude.

We closed our discussion about definite and indefinite articles. I’d still get confused every now and then, but Felipe was very helpful in providing me hints and reminding me how to remember the correct articles better. I’m so grateful for his professionalism and his friendly attitude toward me as his student.
