Hello, my name is Kathrin.
Do you want to learn or improve your German? So together we will manage it successfully!
I am a German native tutor and I have been living in Italy for 15 years now.
So I can speak Italian fluently and thanks to my academic studies with a Master in Foreign languages and literature my language competences in German, Italian and English are qualified.
Further I am also an ÖSD-Examiner for certification in German language.
I love learning languages by myself and I know that it is not always easy. I really enjoy teaching German and I am also a Yoga and meditation teacher as well.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I have been teaching German as a foreign language (Daf) in primary and secondary classrooms and in face-to-face lessons with adults for more than 6 years.
So I am experienced in teaching children, absolute beginners as well as advanced students
in the academic realm.
I can help you with your international language certifications (levels A2-B2: Goethe, ÖSD, Telc, Daf-Test) since I am an ÖSD-Examiner, too. If you need help with your academic thesis in Literature (or Humanities) or with translations you are welcomed.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
A reason why you should study with me is that I am specialized in Language Pedagogy and thus
I know which approaches and learning methods to apply in our lessons in order to make them proficient and successful. Furthermore, I have learned many languages by myself and thus I know how to motivate you as as a student.
In the first trial lesson we will discuss about your needs and goals in order to plan the potentially further lessons.
We can use also use Zoom for our lessons.
If you wish you will have the opportunity to train intensively with me by doing some homework -on and offline -which we will discuss after together.

Jetzt arbeite ich auf meine B2-Prüfung vor und mit Kathrin arbeiten wir das Schreiben durch. Das fällt mir relativ schwierig, aber mit Kathrin sind diese Stunden kognitiv und interessant.

I took 6 lessons with Kathrin to prepare for a CEFR B1 test in Switzerland. She's very knowledgeable about the customs and differences in German between the different countries, knew precisely what are the expectations for each level are and how they are typically tested in language level exams.
Kathrin spotted very quickly the areas where I needed further improvement to reach B1, suggested matching learning materials and gave appropriately sized homework to prepare for the next lesson. She delivers her feedback in an empathetic and constructive fashion even when I kept repeating the same mistakes at times.
Truly a 5 star teacher who adapts to your needs!

Es ist immer eine Freude mit Kathrin zu arbeiten und zu lernen. Sie empfiehlt interessante Bücher zu lesen, ist immer sehr nett und hilfreich. Ich glaube, ich habe meine Deutschkenntnisse viel verbessert und fühle mich sicherer Deutsch zu sprechen.
