Marlene

I normally leave my reviews in Spanish, as this is part of the learning process. But I wanted to leave one review in English. Marlene is a wonderful Spanish teacher. She prepares for every class, and she makes corrections with kindness. She remembers errors from past classes and helps her student learn, slowly in my case, from earlier mistakes. But Marlene is so much more than a wonderful Spanish teacher. Marlene involves either a video or an article in Spanish with a theme. Sometimes these themes are light. But often these themes are informative about things that matter in life, whether discussed in Spanish or in any other language. I have learned much more than language from Marlene. I cannot recommend a teacher more highly. Try her packet of five classes, because after five classes, you too will realize that you are learning Spanish as a byproduct of a more important education.

I have been working with Marlene for nearly a year meeting at least once per week. I am so grateful I found her. She has been motivating, encouraging, and always positive. I wouldn’t know as much as I do had I not met her. Gracias, Marlene. ¡Eres maestra increíble!

Marlene is the best language teacher I've ever had. I've been learning Spanish with for 1-1/2 years and she is always prepared with a video or something fun for us to practice with. Marlene makes learning fun!
